Help

A compact operator guide with a visual workflow and minimal reading.

Workflow

Validation, submission, and release tracking in one place

Intake

Mailbox and manual uploads follow the same clean workflow

Workflow flowchart

The normal operator path from file arrival to CustomsCity tracking.

1
Intake

Mailbox polling or manual upload brings in the spreadsheet.

2
Parse

Rows are grouped into shipment, HAWB, and item structures.

3
Validate

Blocking errors and operator warnings are calculated.

4
Review

The shipment appears in the queue for operator review.

5
Submit

Approved shipments go to CustomsCity when live mode is enabled.

6
Track

Polling updates CustomsCity status back into the app.

What the operator actually does

1. Intake

Open Manual Upload only when the mailbox path is not enough.

2. Parse

Check the sample parsed rows if the file shape looks unusual.

3. Validate

Clear errors first; warnings can be reviewed with judgement.

4. Review

Use Shipment Detail to inspect houses, issues, and readiness.

5. Submit

Stay in safe mode when you only want to rehearse the workflow.

6. Track

Watch Dashboard and Shipments for release, hold, or exception states.

Before live submission

Confirm MAWB and HAWB mapping looks correct.
Fix blocking errors before doing anything live.
Review warnings and decide whether they are acceptable.
Make sure live mode is really intended before submission.

Operator reminder

Use the queue as the source of truth.

The app is designed so operators can move from intake to clearance without jumping around too much: Dashboard for overview, Shipments for work, Manual Upload for exceptions.
